Police in Poland have been searching for Romanowski since closing week after a Polish courtroom licensed a request for the lawmaker to be installed pre-trial detention. After a fruitless seek, prosecutors issued a Ecu arrest warrant for Romanowski, bringing up proof that he used to be out of the country.

Hours ahead of Romanowski’s attorney introduced the lawmaker have been granted asylum in Hungary, Polish High Minister Donald Tusk warned in opposition to Budapest taking any “atypical choices”.

“Will have to Budapest take any atypical choices that may be inconsistent with the Ecu regulation, similar to granting political asylum or ignoring the Ecu arrest warrant, Viktor Orbán will be the one in a precarious place, no longer me,” Tusk stated.
